Adding Approval

I have kind of an odd issue: When using the runscript command for addapproval, it still shows them as "neutral" For example, I put Alistairs approval at 100 and when I looked at it, it said: "approval +100 neutral" However, he can still be influenced beyond me artificially inflating it. I've seen it go from where it is now, to "friendly". How exactly, then, is this command supposed to work?

Thanks alot

That command doesnt include parameters to affect the reasons WHY their approval is going up. Which is thru dialogs, choices made in the game, and through gifts.

You might try metagame items http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13

lovepotion #9 could influence his attitude towards you. Try giving it to him once (thru the same method that you give gifts) to set his approval to love. Then give it to him again and see if it drops back down to friendly or adore.

I havent tried this on a character that was neutral. I keep all of mine at friendly or adore. But its worth a try.

Good luck!

I tried that Metagame file. Boy, was that interesting!!! I have Leliana, Alistiar, Morrigan and Zevran all in love with me :) And I went through all possible scenarios and ended up with a couple extra achievements! (lol)
