David Brasher
I took a small worldspace someone else created and made it bigger. When I started there were massive landscape tears at all of the edges completely surrounding the worldspace. I zipped them up and expanded the world. Now I am getting the idea that those massive tears were there for a reason. They seem to be the signal to the program to disregard everything outside of the tears. How would I go about putting in new landscape tears to fence in my world? There are a lot of useless underwater cells with nothing in them. The worldspace is an island with uncrossable mountains and the gamer doesn't even know there is an ocean because the mountains block all view of it. So these cells do nothing but waste memory. I have the impression that if I modclean them out, they can come back. I know little about worldspaces, so some of my terminology and theories are likely totally wrong. So what can I do to permanently trim off these unneeded cells?

David Brasher
I have been mod-cleaning them out with TES CS. But it seems like some of them come back if you are modding and you accidentally move the camera out over the ocean. I am wondering if there is a way to tell the game that you never ever want to include any cells in your worldspace beyond a precise frontier.
