Phalanx21
Hello, well i installed Fallout 3 recently and everything is going great... until i walked by Dukov's Place. I got my first Fallout 3 crash! I restarted Fallout 3, didnt change any settings, and I walked by it again, no problem. Then i continued playing the game, until I went to Megaton for the 10000000th time. Never had a problem before with Megaton, but now when ever i walk by the same exact spot, CTD. Everytime i load a game, it crashes. I patched the game with the most recent Bethesda patch. I tried changing the settings around to lower, disabled HDR, cranked everything all the way down, but no prevail. I even installed the latest patches for my Video Card (Look at Screenshots Below). I am out of ideas so if anyone could help me, much would be appreciated!
falloutperson416
Do you use FOMM?If so, launch Fallout with the Fallout Icon (Make sure you run it as administrator) and se if it crashes

Just forced Shader 3 models (crashed before that as well, just tried Shader 3.0's as a solution) Only Fallout.esm is in Data Files.

Thanks! http://thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/Dark/tongue.gifNo problem, I had the same issue, and if it happens again, try launching it off the launcher. That usually fixed things for me :)
