TodaY
1. Pick music you want2. Open data folder3. Browse to music4. (optional) rename vanilla music maps and create new ones with the same names5. Place music in mp3 format in music folders6. Play oblivion Nice & easy, eah?
TabuKuroshi
You just take the mp3 files an add them to the correct folders within the music folder you wish them to be in i.e battle, public etc... Rename the descriptions, for example battle_01, atmosphere_03, etc... if you want to change the main menu song use tes4title. You can get an idea of the structure by looking in the music folder. If you are going to change every song. Your best bet is to create an all new music folder and create new internal directories. Then add your songs in. Then sub out the original music folder and put it somewhere safe in case you want to revert back to it. If you are going to upload it to the site make sure they are not copyrighted and if they are make sure you provide proof that you were given permission to use them. If they are for you only of course that isn't needed... Good luck, If you need anymore info just ask :)
InverseEffect
Nice! never knew it was that easy. However ive come across a issue. Whenever i change the title song it doesn't work. Either i get silience or it swaps it for another song. It's really odd and annoying. EDIT: Damn it still swaps it for another song! Does anyone know why this is happening? i want to change the menu song but it's not having it. Edit 2: okay Fixed it, it seems to like some songs and other songs it doesn't seem to whana work with. Alright now is there anyway i can change the background image on the main menu too? ive noticed the video format for the videos are .bik so how would i go around changing some of my videos into .bik then? Edit 3: I doubt i'll release it puplicly tbh, although it's epic. It feels rather personal with the music choice, plus it feels buggy at times. Songs will or won't play, and they some will cut halfway through. Thanks anyway! Anyway as far as copyright goes, the Studio who made them went bust sometime ago. And no one has picked up the rights to it since. This mod is actually more of a succesor to my original version for Medieval 2 total war. Anyway Qoute sums it up. And trust me the devs on that mod are really touchy about copyright, some dude was making a LOTR Music mod for it and the dev team halted it. But mine stayed up :). So i really don't think these songs are copyrighted anymore, ive looked high and low for any info regarding the copyrights of these songs and i can't find any.
