Daedric Armour

So far I've only managed to find a shield (not the ones you find everywhere +lvl5) and I have a sword, but after going into many oblivion gates, I am yet to come across any armour! Where tf is it?? I don't want to resort to cheating.

To my knowledge, there is no way to get daedric armor below level 20. However, once you reach level 20, most levelled NPCs are immediately outfitted with a full suit of daedric armor.

It's leveled so you can only find it after lv20 or so :dry:

vulks sake, I'm only level 10 ¬_¬ I'm just going to do all the sub quests to get my level up, then start going back into the oblivion gates. Thanks for the help :)

 

And also, where do you start going about getting glass armour?

i heard you can also get glass and daedric at lvl 19, it made a huge difference for me, hehehe, i wasnt going to go another level without mah glass ^_^

Meh, I didn't like how much daedric armor was all over the place. There is a mod that reduces the chance of random NPCs to have a daedric or glass armor. Strongly recommend! It makes for much more realism. ;)

(To make it harder you can get other mods if you find it too easy with no enemies in daedric)

I found it a bit stupid that simple bandits and highwaymen were equipped in full, or near full daedric armour and weapons once I hit level 20, I think it's something to do with the NPCs getting better armour as you get higher level, so they still pose a threat, I found that stupid as... Well let's face it, how could these scum of the earth bandits take on a Dremora let alone step through an oblivion gate...

It basically changes the chances of random wilderness NPCs wearing high end equipment.

I don't keep count that well but I'd say I find one random piece of daedric or glass armour per... 15 bandits/highwaymen ? Can't be sure though.

 

I would rather have to fight a small army of bandits to get a full set of daedric equipment than fight a small army of bandits equipped in daedric.

 

Also when you hit level 20, the only dremora that drop Daedric equipment is the Dremora Valkynaz, I've killed about 40 so far and as far as I can remember they drop the exact same thing. Daedric cuirass, greaves, boots and warhammer. I am using one of the mods for a personal museum and I'm trying to get every suit of armour for it. Still going slow.

 

If you prefer realism you should probably get the mod I linked above.
