falloutperson416
I really don't no. It would'nt make any sense not to because the Nexus says "underground' at the top right now. But, I would'nt upload anything until you know it's ok.
Eiries
The mods hosted on the F3Underground are there because it's member choose to have them exclusively hosted there. If you were to upload said mods on the Nexus, they would be removed at the immediate request of the modder which you had doublecrossed and you would undoubtedly be banned. CommandantOreo
I think the site is funny. the challenge question says :whats the firstthing u do before making a post? Well, it says "As soon as you have signed up, the first thing you should do after accessing the forums, before making your first post is read the rules and faq threads, located in the 'Breaking News' forum. Read them in their entirety. You will be banned if it is obvious that you have not done so!!!!" However, apparantly reading the rules and faq threads is obviously not what you do. Damn puzzles..... llamaRCA
1. Is it your mod? 2. If it isn't then you shouldn't be uploading it anywhere. 3. If it is then you can ask at the F3 Underground and somebody will have an answer for you whether or not Nexus is a good place to release your mod or not. There are mods at the F3 Underground that are released at both sites.
bben46
Other sites may allow certain mods that we do not. Such as those using ripped content, Those that have content not allowed here, those the author has requested not be posted anywhere else, some foreign mods which are not for use outside of a certain country, mods that infringe on copyrights and others. We prefer that mods be uploaded here by the original author or at least with their permission. Any mod must meet the rules here to be posted here. Links to mods on other sites must meet these same rules. This is to avoid having people get around our rules by providing links. If you do post a mod here without the original author's permission, and later the actual author complains, you will be banned, and probably at both sites.Bben46, Moderator
Eiries
Thanks for popping in bben46. As a final note, the 30 posts is the site's way of desperately trying to hold onto the fact that they are a community first and a download hub second. Hosting files for download takes up bandwidth, and bandwidth costs money. Money which they try to use intelligently. So before you whine at the fact that you must contribute a bit before grabbing whatever it is you want, remember that that's why most people get banned there. There is no room for leechers there. SpcSpectre
Very well put If you like mods, dont displease the people making them or they stop making mods or just give them to close friends only.If you like participating on the sites, read their rules so you can continue there without getting an IP ban.the 30 rule post is actually very easy, the amount of people who whine and complain constantly like on the images postedhave done so, so much that if they channeled that energy to simply talking and conversating with people on F3undergroundthey would have long since been a member and had their mods, also learned how to make their own mods to, as it is a threadwhich teaches people alot about modding and solving problems.
