Guest Messenjah
So, I've had a bit of a problem with weight painting for my model in 3DS Max. I've followed the tutorials by Nightasy to the letter. I made my skirt extremely skimpy/short.. it is more like a waist wrap or hip-scarf if you will. I figured making it short and tight fitting would help save time with weight painting later, since skirts like this always worked pretty much just fine when I made them for Fallout. Mind you, I'm using the CBBE body. The problem is that if I import the run animation, the skirt flattens completely on one side for some unknown reason, instead of being weighted to the body. The rest of the outfit works perfectly fine. I created a skin with the body mesh. Normally when doing the same sort of thing in Blender, it would skin it very near perfect. Anyone have this problem? I was wondering if anyone skilled with weight painting would be willing to fix the skirt issue? The outfit I am working on is for the ASX mod. I have a lot on my plate to work on right now and I am on a deadline for some of my current modding projects. Thanks.
