A question for players

Does anyone have any idea/way on how to take clothing and weapon from essential npcs? Since I can't kill them, I can't loot their armor and weapons, and I can't pickpocket them to unequip their stuff.

You might wish to use console commands to get yourself items like you desire or use the CS to make a simple mod which places the items somewhere in the world where you can easily get them.

Is there a tutorial out there on how to use the construction set? I've tried to run it a few times, but to no avail. It looks so confusing.

Also, you could type: coc testinghall in the console and you will be teleported to a room with many doors. From there it's simple, just find the that leasds to the armours or what ever else you want. To get back type: coc anvildockgate for example.

Below is a link to one of many tutorials which are available for learning to mod. You don't have to become a hardcore modder, you can just learn to do a few things to make your game more enjoyable.

In game, to get into an NPC's inventory: use this spell: Active Inventory Spell (php 17497). Here is a suggestion for evil characters...a substitute for mannequins.

Use the above and the following spells together: Hilarity (specifically Ressurect and Follow Me), Invoke Mara (from Ancient Towers (php 16308), and Dungeon Poses (php 32512). Using these spells you can use humanoid characters which you have killed and/or, if you prefer, CM Partners as animated mannequins.
