crBlade Posted June 12, 2006 Share Posted June 12, 2006 Hello everybody, A group of talented and employed 3D and texture artist decided to make Oblivion a little bit better, just for it's fans. Improvments will include mesh editing and changing texture. The only question is: "How to open NIF files in 3ds max?" We found a lot of different tools, which should have helped us, but that didn't happen. Blender doesn't open Oblivion files (seems like NIF version is not old enough). NifTools opens required files, but texture isn't visible.All I wan't to know, is how to open Oblivion models in 3ds max and what to do with them after the work is done. I guess changing original BSA file is not a way out. There should be someway to create one file out of edited meshes and textures.Please help.
