Rikumaru7
I just got Dragon Age:Origins from Origin through On The House over the weekend and it's awesome. I'm really enjoying it and the modding community has some interesting things that would really make the game better. But when I tried to use the mods, they wouldn't work. I'm following the instructions on the mods author page but still nothing. When I check in game, under the installed download contents tab, there's nothing there. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is it possible to mod the Origin version of the game? Has anyone else tried it?
Thandal
Welcome to Thedas! Only certain types of mods (those packaged as ".dazip" files) will appear on the "Installed Content" screen. See this article: Using Dragon Age Mods for Dummies, for detailed information about the various kinds of mods and how to handle them. Also see this topic for some thoughts on which mods might be of interest: Good Mods - Opinions. But note that every single experienced players recommends playing the first time through without any mods at all (except maybe bugfixes like DA Rules Fixpack, or Morrigan Dialogue Restoration (MRP).) Happy (modded) Gaming!
