betterthanvegas Posted October 15, 2014 Share Posted October 15, 2014 I was wondering if someone could make a mod to keep Alistair in the party AND make Loghain a Grey Warden. It seems weird to me that your character can't convince Alistair that no matter what happens to Loghain at the Joining, Loghain still loses. Either he dies and can't become king or he becomes a Grey Warden and can't become the king. It should be a persuade option during the dialogue. I hope it wouldn't be anything to hard. However, I don't think Loghain would deserve to become a Grey Warden. They're supposed to be honorable and his actions have all been ambiguous at best. Moreover, they are tolerant - unlike Loghain, who utterly despises the Orlesians. I think that, with Grey Warden skills, he could become too dangerous. My suggestion: place Loghain under home arrest, have him rennounce all claims and donate the possessions to a worthy cause, say, promoting Grey Warden awareness among the common folk ;). If Anora could be imprisoned, Loghain surely could. Possibly tranquilize him with magic somehow. He's good at strategy, which is worthy for the kingdom, but lacks emotional stability, which shows through the conflict with Orlais and more. One thing for sure: sparing Loghain in the original game is too cruel to Alistair. It's Loghain who deserves becoming a depressed drunkard, not Alistair.
