why are the cities so safe!?

hello everyone

I want to ask you a question! imagine you are living in skyrim, let's say you are living in the beloved city of whiterun! fair enough? now,you know that there is a civil war going on and you are exactly in the middle of it,i mean literary in the middle of the stormcloacks and imperial's borders! the city guards often talk about how vampires and werewolves are waiting and hiding to come and tear you apart in the middle of the night! and you know that a dragon might appear any minute and burn the whole city! and worse than all of that, the skyrim is full of cannibals, wizzards, zombies, bandits, thieves,ASSASSINS!! addicted people, mercenaries, and so many other creatures and people that will rip you apart once the get their hands on you! :ermm:

and even worse, the only thing that the city guards can do is whining about how they were shot in the knee by an arrow... :wallbash:

now,the question is,do you have the balls to go outside at 10 pm and sell tomatos and potatos? or go in a bar and drink wine? while your family is left alone and unprotected in your home?

but ironicly, the people of skyrim do have the balls! you see the people walking on the streets singing or drinking way past midnight and nothing ever happens to them! unless of course you decide to do something to them otheriwse they are always safe and sound! and that is something that i can't ignore!

so i'm here suggesting and asking you to add some aggressive random people or events inside the cities to give more immersion to the game.for example, let's add some thieves that actually do pick other people's pockets or some bandits or assassins that come from nowhere and murder an npc,or a werewolf or a vampire...

There are the Jarl's guards everywhere in Whiterun. And those Nords don't tend to wait for the cops to show up when they have a problem.

If you look closely enough you might find a werewolf or two in Whiterun. But you might have to look under some rocks.

The last dragon that messed with Whiterun seems to have stayed longer than he intended, and not of his own free will. That may cause even a dragon to think twice.

I have found bandits very close to Whiterun. So the Jarl is seemingly keeping his men inside and paying mercenaries and bounty hunters (like you) to help out with stuff outside the walls.

There are incidents in Riften though. The Jarl's men there are handicapped by politics.

There are random thiefs that come to you to gut you like a fish if you don't hand over your valuables in the wild. If you want the npcs to be robbed, then I think it would be kinda pointless if you don't get to see it anyway. Weren't those couple who want to attend a wedding ravaged in the wild the next time you meet them? If you mean city, there are guards there, and there are vampires that come to the city.

when i said werewolf i wasn't talking about the members of the companions!

and when i said incident i wasn't mentioning those rare few quests like the case of that lady who got killed in windhelm or political situation in markarth where leads to a prison break and helping the forsworn kinda s*** i mean who has the time to repeat those quests tens of times to experience a little immersion?

i meant random affairs and incidents that we see in our real life, for example an npc get robed,or get assassinated for whatever the reasons are,or a city guard chase a skooma dealer around the town until he catches him/her (and it's important that this events trigger when you are near and can see it otherwise the whole thing is pointless),

thanks for answering  but i meant the same s*** that happens to you(dragonborn) all the time, happens to other npcs as well.

and ofcourse it's pointless if you don't get to see it! and that why these things should trigger when you are passing by so you can get to see it and decide whether to engage or just pass by them

yes,the vampires do come in the cities, but only if you have the dawnguard dlc and be a member of the dawnguard! so a single weak vampire with a dirty robe can appear from time to time and TRY to kill you!which he/she never can
