Crashing when exporting collisions.

Hey guys,

 

I am trying to modify the Blackwood Company room that the tree is in. I want to get rid of the grills and junk on the floor and just make it flat stone.

I got everything how I wanted it but when I try to export it, with collision, it crashes. every time. I have no idea why I have tried two tutorials now so I thought I would ask and see if any of you know why.

I'm off course using the .nif plugin.

 

Basically I get to the export page, start to save the export then it stops working when the status bar at the bottom of max gets to the collision box part of the process. The error report isn't very detailed, just says 3ds max is crashing then closes everything.

Oh, and It's not just this 3d model I tried making a simple box with collision and that crashes as well.

 

I am using Windows 7 and 3dsmax 2010 if that makes any difference, all drivers updated.
