She had a super high-tech gun. If I recall, she would show up in Goodsprings so that you could begin your adventure with her but she had some quests that you had to perform before gaining access to her home, which then became a player home. The problem was that she would show up right about when some trouble would break out in Goodsprings and if you weren't careful there would be all kinds of friendly fire and feelings hurt.
