Daevarken
Hi, Sometimes in Skyrim I get a heavy freeze to the point I cant do anything but have to close skyrim down, which I normally can't do with task manager but I actually have to loggout from the computer to force quit it. I suspected it had something to do with Immersive Creatures but I am not 100%.. Here is a list of my mods if it might help, with pictures: http://imgur.com/2A1s1nJ,xwEzuWV,rEyfSLC It is 3 pictures.. and that order is made from LOOT. Hope anyone knows why I have this problem.. My computer specs is: i7 4770k, gtx 780 OC Twinfozr, 8GB memory.. Edited October 15, 2014 by Daevarken

DemongelRex
What is your load order? (Picture was taken down)Did you clean mods?Did you run LOOT twice?Do you have the legendary edition (I.E. all DLC)?Are you using steam? How many HD textures are you using?Run Performance monitor and see if you are hitting your VRAM limit and see the amount of RAM you are using. Are you using ENB/ENBoost?Are you using the memory patch from the latest skse, provided you have the proper ini tweaks? Are you launching the game with skse every time?Did you make a Bashed Patch? We cannot help you if you do not provide us with proper and specific information.
volnaiskra
Do you know your system stats during the freezes? Is the RAM or VRAM particularly high? Is CPU or GPU usage 100%? If you've done any overclocking (other than the factory overclock of your GPU), try removing it. Also, if the game is on a HDD make sure it's defragged and error free. Have you gone overboard with texture mods? Skyrim's engine is held together by tissue paper and sticky tape, and the only thing a beastly PC will do is encourage you to push the game beyond its modest limits. I have twin Titans in SLI with 6GB VRAM and 32GB RAM, but I've learnt the hard way to avoid all 4K textures like the plague, and often use 1k textures where possible. No steam but that shouldnt be a issue Load order: http://imgur.com/8FxUETt,YXUkuxo,MQaFHaL @volnaiskraDone no overclocking. CPU reaches to around 60-70%. I might have gotten a few 4k textures.. Thought Skyrims engine could handle it, maybe it cant then..?
volnaiskra
From what I know, only pirated versions of Skyrim can run without steam, which means that (a)they might not always work as intendedand (b) the rules of these forums warn that we aren't allowed to help you Skyrim's engine is fundamentally 32bit, so even if you have a gazillion gb of vram and ram, it'll still only use a small amount of it. Things like EnBoost and SKSE help, but only to a point.
