CTD when Saving

I've not played in months, so I recently went though NMM and updated any mods that needed updating, like the UOP, started a new stealth build, and while in the goblin cave I stopped to power level stealth like I've done a 1000 times before. But this time once I reach Expert level I can't save, it CTD if I try saving though the menu *and* opening the console and typing 'save mastersave'. I've run the load order though BOSS, went back over it and made sure it made sense, checked the mods again to be sure they are updated and still won't do it. I've saved after each level (apprentice, journeyman, etc) and when I hit Expert, boom! trying to save. This is the Steam GotY edition so it should be fully up to date. Anyone have any ideas?

Update: Disabled everything except the Oblivion Character Overhaul and the Unofficial Patches and got though fine, also had to unplug my 360 controller due to another unrelated bug (would start to walk super slow mo, like swimming in air, after a short while) and now out of the sewer and about. Really weird, wish I knew which mod was causing it to hang up. :(
