Equipment Slot Limitations

The only thing I could find relatively close to this was the "Natural Rings Limit" mod.

Essentially what I'm asking for (assuming it doesn't exist, I couldn't find one at all after three hours of searching) is a mod that allows you to equip conflicting pieces of armour. (Being able to equip two things that are in a "tail slot" for example). I know one exists for Fallout 3, but I haven't seen one for Oblivion.

That's about it.

Do you mean you want to equip two or more pieces of equipment that occupy the same slot AND have all of them show physically on your character? Honestly I don't know if this is possible, but if you just want to equip stuff and don't care if they don't show, you can just go into the Construction Set and make those items slotless.

I think he may be referring to Tailor Maid

As far as I'm aware: FO3 has a number of additional equipment slots which go unused in the stock game (or are used for trivial items). These can then be used by mods to act as additional slots. This isn't the case for Oblivion, and no-one has had any success in adding additional slots (torso, hands -> shoulders etc). The most logical and easiest way I know to do it would be to just tag them as rings/amulets and use an unlimited/extended rings mod. For items like sunglasses it's logical enough.

The main problem with adding a heap of meshes to your character will be the obvious clipping: Most armors/clothes aren't designed to work together and hence they would have to be custom made or occupy parts of the character which the stock meshes don't cover (face -> sunglasses, earrings).

I'm not exactly sure how the unlimited rings mods work, but I doubt it would be applicable to other slots, so that's gonna be your best bet.
