Help with NavMeshes

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have recently started a project called AIM (Abandoned Interiors Mod). I have been able to learn some of the features of the GECK but one thing that always comes up with errors for me are NavMeshes.

I was wondering whether anyone would be able to help me with my NavMeshes. Fixing them probably wouldn't take very long if you are good at them. If I send you the file and you could possible fix them up? (you will be credited!)

Cheers,

Hendrickx

There is an icon on the navmesh tool bar called 'Find Trinagle' (Hot key = Cntl-F), it looks like a small red flag with a deeper red question mark. From the little pop up window that appears, there is a button called 'Check Navmesh'. If you press that it will find all your problem triangles. Then you can press the 'Goto' and 'Next Warning' button to cycle through all the navmesh errors. Most often, all that is required is to delete the problem triangle and make a new one.

Thanks, I sorted all of my issues out now. I hate it when I overlook something so simple -_-'
