Cassey
Hi! First of all, sorry, english isn't my first language. So, I've been playing DAO just two days but I'm pretty sure this isn't normal, is it?Here says I've learnt a new aptitudehttp://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m285/crisalda/new.pngbut then, nothing appears.http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m285/crisalda/talent.pnghttp://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m285/crisalda/skills.png And the same happens with Alistair and Morrigan (and the dog) And everytime I pass a level, i can't improve any skill because they didn't appear.http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m285/crisalda/nnn.pngSo, I'm storing points xD If anyone has an idea... thanks. RustyBlade
Try turning off (un-check) Auto-Loot in your Downloaded Content screen and see if things reappear. You will need to force load your save, then save again, exit and reload. If that doesn't fix it you have other mods conflicting and you will need to turn them off or possibly even un-install them to find the trouble. Thandal
You are correct. This is not normal. Normally you might still have to "store" specialization points as you gain levels until you had found the teacher or book that could "unlock" one for you. But even then you should "see" them, even if you couldn't select them for your character. But "Autoloot" is not part of the original game. It is a modification ("mod") written by someone else "just for fun", and provided with no guarantee that it will work, or even that it won't break the game in some other way. If you are brand-new to the game, how did this mod get installed? What other mods are you using? Have you tried to remove any mods and see if there is one that is causing your problems? Are you using the PC disc version or the Steam version? (I assume not PS3 or XBox, since you have at least one mod installed.) What patch level do you have? Cassey
Everything is right now, I don't know what I've done (well, messed up) because I deleted my game xDI'll have to start again, but at least, my skills appear now. Anyway, thank you both. I'll be more careful from now on.
