Does anyone know how the game classifies a cell type for music (Public/Dungeon/Explore/Base)? There's nothing in sounds tab for it in the GECK (i.e. its not an ambient or a music that can be changed or placed), so I'm assuming its some kind of hardcoded function that sits in the background? I looked at the FOSE documentation for commands and function's but i didn't see anything that referred to this. Then again I'm not a scripter either does anyone know anything about this?

Edit a cell and go the the Common Data tab (right click on a cell in the cell view window, choose edit). There you will see two fields: Default Acoustic (background or ambient sound) and Music Type (actual music). You can choose what will play in your cell by these two fields. Acoustic type is found in the Object window under Special Effects and Music Type is located under Miscellaneous.
