Help creating special shotgun effect

Im trying to create a shotgun effect that send enemies flying and knocks them down kinda like the victoryrifle effect but more forceful and not relegated to just a single target. What I have done so far:

 

New Projectile

Basically copied shotgun proj but added explosion option. Not clear on "Impact force" value. What would be an acceptable value. Since this does not create the knockdown effect can I ignore this?

 

New Explosion to go with the new Projectile

Alot of this Im not clear on here.

 

Force - I assume this is how strong the victim is sent flying

Radius - What would make sense for a shotgun type weapon.

IS Radius - Geck wiki says "Radius of the area that will see the ImageSpace effect." So I assume if I added a bloodglowSFX affect then this will adjust how much of the effect will be created on the game? I left IS mod blank so I guess this is useless for me.

Artfile - I left this blank since the explosion is supposed to be invisible. Right or wrong way to do it?

Impact Data set - I used ballisticdataset. Is what i should be using for a bullet based explosion? Again not too clear on this.

 

Now some problems I've encountered

It works ok and it does as I intended but when I shoot at objects they dont fly away like a normal gunshot. Items and objects dont appear to be affected by the projectile but actors do, limbs and body parts explode as normal. Shooting at walls or doors does not create the decal marks like a normal gunshot.

 

So this is a part clarification on specific stuff as well as a "if you did it, how would you do it" kinda topic. Im kinda happy with the outcome so far but it would be great if I could fix some of the issues as well. Any help is appreciated.
