JDGameArt
I'm not sure how you went about re-texturing you're model but I'll go over a few guidelines, then a few solutions. First off what mesh / model are you using? Is it the default Oblivion one, or from a mod? If you are re-texturing the default Oblivion mesh one the the easiest ways to do this is to use the default texture as a template. You can extract the texture map using ether NifScope, or just open it directly from the game files. Second, did you change any of the .nif files texture paths? The main body texture is going to include the torso, legs, and feet. The head mesh gets it's texture from a completely different texture map. And last but not least the hands are a different texture map as well. In other words, if I altered the main body texture I wouldn't see any changes to the hands, or head. Texture path example... Heads .nif should point toHeadTexture.dds Torso .nif should point toBodyTexture.dds Lower body .nif should point toBodyTexture.dds Hand .nif should point toHandTexture.dds These four elements will make up the full character in game. Assuming you have all this correct the next thing to keep in mind is the texture map itself. You can't just make a texture and plop it on a mesh. Things won't line up correctly. You could load the mesh into a 3D editing program and perform you're own UVW unwrap up thats not needed if you're just making a new texture. So use the default texture as a template then make a new normal map from that. Hope this helps a little.
