bben46
To back up your saves: First, you need to find them. For some reason, Bethesda separated the saves and another file (oblivion.ini) from the rest of the program. If you are using XP, They can be found in: C:\Documents and Settings\user name\My Documents\My games\Oblivion\saves Note: user name is the name that was assigned to you when this copy of windows was originally set up. Usually your name. Make a new folder this can be a new folder you create in the \oblivion folder, such as \Oblivion\Saves Backup in the same \oblivion folder, or a new folder you create somewhere else. DO NOT create it inside of the original \saves. If you put it somewhere else, be sure you can remember where. Copy - DO NOT cut or move the contents of the \saves folder into the new folder. That is your backup. if there is a problem, or if you wipe out your saved games, you can copy the contents of the new folder back into the original \saves folder
guitardanno
I have a problem, when an "adult" mod is installed the females Nipples are textured(you can see them and they stick out) but not colored, neither is they're pubic hair...I've done numerous uninstall/reinstall of the games, mods, etc... with no effect. When i don't put the mod on the females "bra" aren't there either...just flesh colored nipple-less breasts. any idea how to fix this?
kromwell
Haven't been moding lately becuase of the bugs in some of them, but I was wondering if everyone is still using "Mod manger"?
Shadowcran
I've downloaded hundreds of mods but this is the first time I've encountered this problem. Tears of the Fiend SI version comes in 7 zip but won't extract or work at all. I read and found that having the Legacy or The Butcher in your data files will mess this up, so I moved them. It still won't work. Any suggestions?

mandalore313
hi.i have a problem with installing *some* mods i have been using various mods since morrowind, and the procedure is the same, except if i miss something. i have managed to install some mods (eyecandy through the mod manager and all others manually) the thing is that, most mods that i installed manually dont work. i tried creating a new character, one that hasnt explored the locations where the extra moded stuff should be, but they dont exist there too. i dont seem to understand why they dont work. since 1 or 2 manually installed mods DO work, it means that i am not doing anything wrong.but there are a lot more that just ignore the fact that i have them there ps: yes, i did read the readme of every single one , yes i did install them on data dir and yes i did check them on mod manager as active if someone could help me, i would be gratefulthanks in advance
Slytovhand
I have a couple of mod problems, which I'll try to work out somehow, but I do have a general question. If I install a mod that, for example, removes the levelling of items (so, level 30 items are accessible at level 1), and then use a mod that has levelled items (eg, Adonnay's), which takes priority? I understand that that later loading files over-write earlier loading files, but what about 'bits' of files, such as this?? *my actual problem is trying to use Beautiful Elves, with... something??? My golden elf looks great during character creation, but in-game has shiny grey hands and face/neck, but normal coloured body... no gold (though, as I said - it's still shiny - as per what I would expect - other than the colours!).
