chaospearl
Quick question... I started out playing Oblivion on the PlayStation, and the PS3 version of the game allows you to use the joystick to move your character slowly or faster depending on how far you push the stick. I notice in the PC version, you can only walk or run, there's no gradual change of speed. And the default "walk" speed is much faster than what I'm used to... I've always been blown away by Oblivion's graphics and I like to walk down the roads and cities slowly and look around at things. I feel like now my character is always rushing even at a walk and I wish there were some way to go at a slower pace. Are there any mods or ini tweaks I can make to slow down the default walking speed, or should I just suck it up and get used to it?

The only way to really achieve the joystick effect on PS3 would be to use an actual joystick and have software support to adjust the speed based on the tilt of the joystick. forli
You can wear heavy armor, be near over encoumbered, walk, sneak and unsheat your weapon, or you can directly reduce your speed in the console with the command "Player.SetAV Speed #" without quotes, where # is the new value of the Speed of your PG; set it to a lower value.
