try running the command again. If that fails try adding -1 after the command. Like Runscript pc_immortal -1 or runscript setplayerimmortal -1

If that fails, you will need to edit your savegame in the toolset.

If you dont already have it you will need to download and install the toolset. (google it) If you have problems getting it from the bioware site, try a search for fileplanet dragon age toolset.

Now, HOPEFULLY it will install correctly, give it a test run to make sure.

Assuming that goes ok, you will need to open up your savegame(s) that were affected. Going with the most recent first.

Go to your documents folder. from there its documents/bioware/dragonage/characters

in characters, you will have folders for all your characters that have savegames. (Any characters from DAA will be listed like Joe1 or Jane1 (with a number after their name).

Inside the characters folders is a folder that says Saves. Open that. Inside, is bunch of folders that read autosave# and Slot_#

THOSE are what we want. Pick the folder with the HIGHEST slot_#. so if it goes up to Slot_23, then 23 is your most recent.

Opening slot_# inside you will find several other files. the one you want is "name".das NOT .das.met

There's three methods you can use to open that file. 1) Open up the toolset and click file, then open, then browse to the file location. 2) Drag and Drop (DnD) the file from the folder, into the active toolset 3) Right click the file, and choose open. Then choose a default program, then use windows explorer to find your toolset.exe file (Usually located in your games/dragon age/tools folder).

Ok, after opening the file, you will have a list on your screen. You will need to scroll down to find [+] Savegame_player_char , Click the + next to it to expand the tree. Now scroll waaaay down till you find savegame_object_immortal. Follow that line across. You'll see something like UINT8 or something similar, and then either a 0 or a 1. If it's set to 1 the player is immortal. If its set to 0 the player is not immortal.

So, if it's a 1 click in that box with the left mouse button and type in a 0 (make sure that it didnt put it as 10 or 01 !)

then click on File, Save, and give it a try.

If you have more than one gamesave you will need to repeat this on all of them.

Definitely hope this helps!
