Ok so I finally got oblivion to work outstanding for 45 hrs. So I was getting UL and Sutch Reborn to work and Strik to work properly. I was missing meshes and stuff and I fixed them before by reinstalling the mod. So Yeah after re installing Strik I cant load any save games. I removed the bloat and all that good stuff through Wyrne Bash. So Im lost now, so WTF?

Have you used BOSS to resort your load order yet? Remember that you will want the most recent BOSSlog as well. One of the two (Stirk or Sutch) has caused a few problems in the past. Make sure you have all of the compatibility patches so the mods will work with what you already had installed when you could play for 45 hours. I am lucky to get more than five hours before I run into a ctd or a mod conflict on my desktop., but I will download mods to see if they will work to help troubleshoot installation problems.

Yep D/L the most up to date masterlist and also tried tes4edit. All compatibility patches are D/L but like I said everything was working than I reinstall Stirk I think to fix the floating benches. Than bam it dont work. I guess it looks like reinstall again sheesh!

You have too many mods. Systematically take off groups of them until your game starts working. At that point, you can slowly start adding them again at a very slow rate, with hours of play-testing between each mod installation. It is good to know exactly which mod is breaking your game when you are building a huge set-up with tons of mods. You don't want to get into a situation where you have no clue how you broke your game.

You say you did a 'clean' reinstall. However, if you used the game uninstall you do not get a clean uninstall to work with. It leaves behind everything in the data folder except the vanilla game. All mods, all utility program sand anything else. It also does not remove ant of the save games or the Oblivion.ini with all of the hardware info in it. But worst of all, it leaves behind several entries in the windows registry that can cause problems.

Here is a link to my complete uninstall/reinstall procedure located in the articles section of the Nexus

It allows you to preserve any saves and mods, or remove them completely - your choice. It does remove everything from the data and saves folders, but tells you how to back it up first. It does remove the original Oblivion.ini and the left over entries from the windows registry.

I followed that one and removed all mods completely. I am about to just stop playing because I got it to work with a new game. I always get at least 45-90 hours until bam it CTD and I cant fix the problem.
