lewisdude
Just a quick mod suggestion- Awhile back I was sneaking around the Mall, and came across a few Talon protectrons/brain robots. I had great fun disabling their combat disinhibitors, and watching them atk the talon soldiers. Two things however annoyed me. 1. It required me to un-stealth to shoot the inhibitor, meaning the rest of Talon atked me.2. I needed to do a heck of a lot of damage to disable it, meaning the robot was usually half dead when inhibitor was fried. This made it weak against enemies, and pretty much useless. What i'd like is a ranged weapon, like the dartgun for robots- one shot (stealthed/silenced) wiping out the inhibitor immediately. Could be great for stealth guys who hate having to deal with the effing tough sentry droids/gutsyes. Cheers, BookGuy

lewisdude
Hey, Thanks guys for your suggestions/work, especially Daniel, wasn't expecting a mod so soon; My issue with both of the mods is that they either do 1shot kills or extra damage against the robots overall; ie, making them good for fighting robots head on. What I want is a dartgun-style weapon (that disabled the legs) that destroys the combat inhibitor ONLY on droids, leaving it more or less undamaged. Preferebly silenced too, because I play a stealthy character. Do any of you have any ideas for how to make this mod work? IE how does the dartgun wipe out legs only? If not, could you give me some suggestions so I can bring my own rudimentary modding skills to bear?
