Dark One Mod Bugged

I recently downloaded the new playable race mod "dark One" and I just sit there in the cell in the beginning. There is no story progression or anything, just sitting and waiting. The guards never come. Anyone else have this problem with the mod, or is there a way around this starting error?

For fixing it you need the fix custom race mod, I would have given you the link but I don't have much time for now.

 

The custom race fix just adds a little dialog to the prisoner in front of you, the game does not start because he does not recognize your race and so he does not start dialogue that triggers the whole begininning sequence. Hence, the custom race fix works with all custom races.

As Umi Ryu said, the problem is that the game only has dialogue for the default races, and none for custom races. You need a mod to enable generic dialogue for custom races. I'm using the Mystic Elf race from Ren's pack and have loaded kynetarse's Custom Race Fix mod which enabled me to start the game without any troubles. You can get it here:

Also, I understand that custom races cause a problem with the Arena quest. There is a different mod which fixes that as well:

I have both of the above loaded, though I have not yet done the arena quest so I can only vouch for the first one. But you definitely need the first one.
