Patch 1.04

I read on the BW that QFP was only for patch 1.03, is this information wrong?

Qwinn said, (and I can't quite quote) "I may update the FixPack for 1.04 after I've had a chance to evaluate it, but should only have to remove my fixes for anything that BioWare corrects..." Since in 1.04 BioWare didn't fix very much of what he did at all, I still have it installed and haven't noticed any problems.

Look in the official website ell

Sorry what official website? I did a Goggle search and got lots of forums discussing said patch but no links to it, I did a search on here and BW sites no luck there either. I'll try another Google search later.

Oh, sorry I meant BioWare's official website. Do a search in projects and you can find Qwinn's Fix

Ah I think I see the problem you spelt it Qwinn I've been searching Quin! I'll have a look later as family will be descending soon :whistling:

Anyone know if Qwinn's pack is really needed for patch 1.04, or if it's even good to have it installed at all for that patch? Thanks.

I'm running with 1.04 and Qwinn's FixPack v2. Qwinn's work fixes lots of things BioWare (still) didn't. Mostly broken plot flags / dialogue branches. Haven't noticed any conflicts so far. (But neither has he updated it for DA:A. E.g. Sigrun's Personal Quest is still busted if you do things in the "wrong" order. :verymad: )

Thanks. Do you use any additional dialog enhance/restore mods? I keep hearing there are conflicts between those and Qwinn's pack.

Good point ! I'm running ZDF and the Morrigan one, perhaps I shouldn't install it.

I'm going to hold off installing it until I know more about possible conflicts. I always expect games to have bugs and as long as the game plays I'll put up with them and wait for a patch, I can't say that there has been any one thing that has made me scream for patches, I don't want to cause problems for myself.
