So i've decided to make one and i'd love to get some feedback. Its mainly just pre-existing armors that im combining to get a new look, my question for you guys, though, is do you like the vest and harness on it? or do you think it looks better without it? Without Harness: i've included images using the textures and without. The boots specifically need to be retextured as the UV's had to be re-arranged. So what do you all think? BlackRoseOfThorns Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 (edited) You could try cutting out the metal part on chest together with leather belts holding it and replace leather shoulderpads with metal ones. If that's too much work, the second bare chest concept is better. PS: Check aMidianBorn armor textures. Those are a lot more detailed and scale armor comes in dark and light variant. I agree with your buddy that Orcs probably wouldn't give a crap about being covered in armor, but more about smashing the enemy while looking intimidating and bad-ass. I like the idea of using just the straps and metal plate from the harness, get rid of the underpart. That seems nice and barbaric. I also like the idea of metal shoulderpads; I saw this yesterday and was trying to think of some suggestion for just pauldrons without the 'vest' but they all looked silly in my mind.
