FO3Edit merged patch creation error

Hey guys,

I'm a first time modder and I'm having trouble creating a merged patch for FWE and MMM, using FO3Edit.

I'm going by the guide on this page: https://docs.google.com/View?docid=0ASdCGxH-MDdeZGRzNmtyNzdfNGhobTJ2dmZu&hgd=1#Q_How_do_I_create_a_Merged_Pat

The problem I'm having is that right towards the end this appears:

[00:08] Background Loader: Fatal: <Exception: "FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm" requires master "CRAFT.esm" to be loaded before it.>

[00:08] Background Loader: finished

And after that I can't right click to create the merged patch.

My load order (In FOMM) is:

Fallout3.esm [00]

BrokenSteel.esm [01]

Mart's Mutant Mod.esm [02]

CRAFT.esm [03]

CALIBR.esm [04]

FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm [05]

Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp [06]

Mart's Mutant Mod.esp [07]

Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Broken Steel.esp [08]

CRAFT - Activation Perk.esp [09]

FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp [0A]

FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.esp [0B]

FO3 Wanderers Efition - Followers Enhanced (Broken Steel).esp [0C]

Now this weirds me out because I select them in the order that's suggested in FWE, however in FOMM it just changes the order to that above, I'm not sure if this is the problem as FO3Edit seems to use the files selected in FOMM.

Sorry for the long post, it's just that I'm unsure of what's wrong and would like to play both mods at the same time.

Cheers.

If FO3Edit says : "FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm" requires master "CRAFT.esm" to be loaded before" then it's what you have to do, before being able to create a merged mod.

Start up FOMM and drag CRAFT.esm before Wanderers.esm mod, this might however not be exactly what wanted depending on whatever the other mod put into the game changes.

Regarding mod loading orders and the implies they get on the game play is an art form (some times put into a religion) that you could spend hours reading up on. You have to trust that someone at least playing half the mods you do step in and present what he got working, or just play with it till it works how you wanted. But still maybe not completely what the mod maker intended. As told the more mods you want to play (for sure I'm the same) the more trouble you get to make them to fit along with each other. And for sure that is the major reason to make a merged mod!

Edit: Just to make it clear running FOMM and drag the mods up and down in the list will try to load them in that order. just quit and load FO3Edit and you see the changed load order.

A hint is that selecting a mod will tell what that one is dependent on to be running before itself.
