The autosave flashes for a bit in the top left corner like normal but it doesn't actually save, quicksaves and normal saving dont work either, It saves perfectly fine without running it with FOSE. What is going on here? I installed everything right and runned FOSE from the fallout 3 directory. Can anyone help me out? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pkleiss Posted July 23, 2010 Share Posted July 23, 2010 To be honest, I have never heard of that issue. I don't see how having FOSE installed would, by itself, stop you from saving. I can see how if some mod you have has a script that uses FOSE commands in a poorly formed script could. This means, I would think you have a mod problem and not a FOSE problem. What is your load order? Have you tried turning off some of your mods and checking in the game that you can save or not? As an experiment, unload all of your mods and start a new game with FOSE installed. If you can then save your new game, you don't have a FOSE issue, but you do have a mod issue. If that is the case, start adding your mods back a few at a time and test the game again. Keep repeating this until you discover which mod is causing the problem and get rid of that mod. If your new game still won't let you save with FOSE and will without it, then I would have to say that you have a unique problem that may have to do with the the way you installed FOSE or your environment - like Game patch version or some other weird issue.
