cameltoe
I'm one of those people who don't have a superb rig to play FO3, and as a consequence (I think), during combat sometimes the game fails to register some of the mouse-clicks. This results my shotgun not always firing. So, I was wondering, could it be possible to change the single-shot weapons (10mm pistol and Combat Shotgun, off the top of my head) so that they'd fire bullets continuously if the LMB was pressed down, without having to click for each shot? I don't want the rate of fire to change, just a workaround to compensate for this inadequate computer.

You can't attack again anyway until the previous attack is finished, including the various animations involved in that process. However, weapons have two attributes, called "Semi-Automatic Fire Delay Min" and "Semi-Automatic Fire Delay Max", that add an additional random delay during which you will not be able to attack, even though it seems like you should be. The 10mm pistol for instance, should be able to fire up to 6 shots per second, but by default you probably won't get that rate. It has a minimum delay of 0.1 second and a max of 1 full second. That is probably the cause of your erratic fire rate, though lag could be contributing some. If you don't already have any modding experience, this would make a good first mod. All you need to do is edit the weapon records. If you want automatic fire (so the weapon keeps firing as long as you hold down the trigger) you need to check the "Automatic" box in the weapon attributes. The "Fire Rate" attribute controls the number of shots per second on automatic weapons; the fire rate on semi automatic weapons is controlled by their Animation Multiplier and Attack Multiplier on the animation tab.
