boogieboard
Ok, I upgraded from DAO to DAO Ultimate Edition recently and right now, all of my mods have stopped working. The problem is that whenever I tried to load a character created from the original, it tells me it can't load that save because I'm missing these mods and then gives me a list so stuff like morrigan restoration, 5th dog slot, lock bash ect are all said to be missing but they are not missing because they are all still sitting in my override folder in documents, so unless DAO:UE has a different override folder i'm lost. The second problem is that none of the DLC that came with DAO:UE show up. It is listed as installed but ingame, the 'other campaign' is grayed out. The only way to get the official DLC to work is to repair it via origins and after I did that, I emptied my override folder and redownloaded all of the mods I was previously using thinking it may have fixed itself. So after installing all the mods via DAmodder and override folder, I find that I can finally load my characters yippee... until I also realized that all the official DLC is now gone AGAIN so now Im back to square one with about 4hrs of my time. spiffay
Did Origins recently give away DA:O for free? I have a terrible memory but I remember that being the case and I have DA:O in my origins library as well as my steam. Origins recently decided to install dlc even though there's only one instance of the game installed (steam's)... So now my mods are messed up in a very similar way to yours... Sorry this isn't an answer to your question, just another problem... Hopefully the bump will get both of us an answer, I apologize if my question has been answered somewhere I haven't finished perusing the search results. Thandal
Since the post is over a month old, I'll assume the OP resolved that issue. As for spiffay's issues, "No Thread Hijacking!" Start your own. :armscrossed:
