RustyBlade
Yes, you can use any save you have to make a character in AW but you may find it a bit difficult with a lv1 character. I didn't know that you could start Awakenings with a Level 1 character. Nezroy says you can't and I really can't argue the point as the only time I haven't used a new character or the Hero of Ferelden was on my first playthrough and that was too long ago for my feeble mind to remember. I've seen a mod that's called Level 1 forever or something like that, not sure if it will work for that purpose though.
redneck1st
As Dan has mentioned about Anora and the epilogue, basically nothing you did in Origns carries over into Awakening a lot of people have been really dissapointed with that. Now with DA2 for which I've seen mentioned here what is the release date and are the offering any bonuses if you pre-order like they did with DAO? Thandal
Heck, I even patched to 1.04, then started a whole new DA:A with an imported PC from DA:O just to experience the "notes from lovers", only to realize waaaaay too late that the particular character I'd chosen was from one of my "break it off with everyone else only to be left by Morrigan in the end anyway" saves. So no billet-doux for me! :( The only references to any of my earlier DA:O decisions I've seen are a "Hey, good to see you again." from Oghren when we meet at the Keep in the very beginning, and an acknowledgement from "His/Her Majesty" (depending on which way I'd played that aspect) just after clearing it. Or will you have to Level him up when you start the game?Just imported a Level-1 HNF Warrior from DA:O into DA:A. Result: "Kalipso automagically became a Level-18 Warrior somewhere along the road before her arrival at Vigil's Keep."

Did you get to level her up on your own or was it done automaticly?

redneck1st
Thandal Do you always play through as a female character or have you gone through with a male Pc? As for me wonder if it's possible to get wynne in the sack. Heck I've had both Morganna and Lelianna why not Wynne?<LOL>

Prefer female for a number of reasons, the biggest being "my" voice, which I have to listen to for the ENTIRE game. (Same reason I refer to my GPS as "Nav Lady". :) ) And to answer your other question, there are potential romances only with M, A, L, and Z. All other companions can be max'd at Approval+100, but, (like Dog) will then be "Friendly". There are any number of topics in these and other forums discussing each partner in all the possible permutations (vanilla, and modded!) See the "Sex in DA2?" thread here: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/226463-sex-in-da2 , for a current discussion with views from various Nexians.
