KnightOfHope
Hello everyone, I'm having trouble getting daupdater.exe to add a new mod (Devout Armor if you're curious) to Dragon Age. The following is the error message that I'm getting - 7/21/2010 9:24 AM - Engine.Content.ContentInstaller, Information - Updating AddIns.xml7/21/2010 9:24 AM - Engine.Content.ContentInstaller, Error - Couldn't update XML file, error: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DAUpdater.Engine.Content.ContentInstaller.UpdateAddInsXml(String UID, XmlNode newAddInItem) at DAUpdater.Engine.Content.ContentInstaller.InstallContent(InstallInfo installInfo, Boolean bDeleteAfterInstall)7/21/2010 9:24 AM - Engine.Content.ContentInstaller, Error - Install failed! I'm thinking that somehow the AddIns.xml file got corrupted, since this happens with every mod that I attempt to install? Does anyone know how to fix this? I'll be glad to provide more information if necessary - I really don't know what info to give. Thank you in advance!

SkullKnight
You can try using a different tool, such as DAO-Modmanager to install the mod, and see if its able to sort out your AddIns.xml. If nothing else works, you can always regenerate AddIns.xml, although this will require you to reinstall all of your add-ins (both official content and mods). To do this, you need to delete both AddIns.xml and Manifest.xml.
KnightOfHope
daupdater as an admin didn't work. So I guess I'll try the other solution. I just delete those two files and reinstall?
