How to make Edgar Vautrine sell your stuff?

Can someone please tell me how to make Edgar Vautrine sell stuff using the construction set? I have a really cheaty spell that im going to upload, basically it kills every1 within a 1000 radius. Anyway, ive searched for his chest, but even if i put something in it wont sell, and if I put it in his spell list, its not in his available ones. Please help?

At a simple level, the proper way to do it should be putting it into his spell list. Items go in his chest, or another chest you add to his shop to avoid mod conflicts. Spells go into the NPC's spell list.

 

That is very odd that it is not working for you. Perhaps there is something wrong with your new spell. To test this, try adding a vanilla Oblivion spell to his list and play-test to see if he will sell it.

 

Is your spell free? That could be a major problem. Venders will not sell free things. But I guess that probably wouldn't happen because the computer seems to partially auto-calc a price for spells that are sold.

 

I suppose your new mod was saved properly and activated in your mod manager?

In addition to David's suggestions, do you have a mod (or rather another) mod which adds something for sale to Edgar's chest? (possible mod conflict)
