Inafog
Does anyone else think there should be more roadside inns? Is there a mod that provides any? I'm trying not to use fast travel in my current game and I really wish there were more places to stay safely when on the road. (It's not sensible to travel at night, especially if you're using Darker Dungeons and Nights or some other mod that stops Cyrodiil from being the perpetual 'land of the midnight sun'.) mhahn123
A simple search of the word "Inn" yielded all these. In addition there are many town and village mods which have inns with rooms for rent. mhahn123
And to expand on the first response..here is a list of villages that I know for sure to have functioning Inns. There are most likely others I just can't remember off the top of my head which of the many villages out there have Inns with rooms that can be rented. Most of Arthmoor's villages do..but they are built mostly around vanilla settlements also. ArkamooreColdspring VillageDragon Captions VillagesMidland (free sleeping mat in one of the attics)PinevaleRetbury VillageRunestone Village or Runestone Village 2Settlements of Cyrodiil - Clearwater Farms (free bed in the sheep stall)Settlements of Cyrodiil - Legion OutpostsSettlements of Cyrodiil - Silverfish FallsShezrie's TownsSutch Village And this list doesn't even factor in the villages which include player homes. Inafog
I stand corrected. We do not need more inns.

Aurasoma
Agree more villages, hamlets and farms around the city states would be nice. I some times compare Oblivion with World of Warcraft where the world space is smaller then a real world.A larger world space would put more farm lands around Chorrol, Skingrad and Bravil then the 11 named farms that are in game. As well as the 10 named settlements, 5 Isolated houses, 8 Religious and Faction settlements. Admit ably the Settlements Of Cyrodiil seems to be fixing that problem by filling small portions of the map in with new locations. As for more Inn's, there are 17 I've found on the Nexus Oblivion just using Inn as a search term for file name. They did not include the Hoser Hut by Carah so you may want to also use Inn under description contains...

mhahn123
And to add another more obscure name to this list there is The Orange Maple Inn. Which comes with optional compatibility patches as well.
