enableling console commands

how do i get the console commands to work its been like 5 months now since i played oblivion and i kinda forgoten on how to do it so do i put this in the target area -enableconsolecommands or is this the wtong thing to put?? oh and im running on win-7 64bit

If you mean enable the console, just make sure that is checked in the Oblivion.ini. You can open the console with the tilde (~) key.

 

 

yea thats what i meant when i press the tidle key nothing happens and in the ini the ballowconsole is set to 1 so that should make it work but if you know any help will be helpfull thanks

and this is what it says in the target part in the properties section "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\OblivionLauncher.exe" -enableconsolecommands

You should not need to make such a change to your shortcut.

Console commands should be enabled by default. I have not heard of them being disabled. Is the console working?
