If this screen is relatively new, you may want to take the monitor off to a tech service place. Otherwise, you may have to replace it or buy a cooling system for it. If you do a search for "blue line down side screen" you can find more information about the issue, probably, but it does not sound like something that will just go away. Tomlong54210
Oblivion requires a lot of your system, so this anomaly may only show up while playing Oblivion to its extra requirements. You should probably take that screen to a tech support place or replace it. That just does not sound at all like an application-specific bug. I had not heard of it before, and other users (if you search the net) have reported using various other applications.

Well, I am not one for spending money unnecessarily. (That is for sure...) Try posting here about it and see if someone has heard about this related to Oblivion, specifically - http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/forum/23-oblivion-hardware-and-software-issues/ This might be related to your video card, but I would probably have to do much more searching to confirm that. Oblivion is definitely more CPU-intensive than Fallout 3, but you would probably have to use some heavy graphic enhancers for Oblivion to require more of your GPU than that game.
