Free Will Mod?

Back on topic, this isn't possible. The PC will never do anything scripted. And, given the fact that the radiant AI seems to be disabled for the most part, any free will is really unlikely. Hell, just going around and adding a bit more randomness to NPCs would even be a challenge. The reality is that alot of these people read about Radiant AI, dreamed up situations that they thought were possible, then realized how wrong they were.

what do you mean radiant AI is disabled? That's what most NPCs in the game are based off of.

The AI in game is far from Radiant. Not sure if you've noticed, but the NPCs are all largly static. They follow the same routine day after day. Unfortunately, that routine is all scripted, there is nothing allowing an NPC to just decide to do something different, like steal food, or pick a fight with his neighbor, unless that has been scripted to happen. NPCs all move along a pathgrid, they don't do their own pathing outside combat. NPCs only enter combat unless they are told to get attacked or to attack based on a disposition check. NPCs can't pick up items, or drop items unless specifically told to, and even then, only in certain specific situations. They don't respond to weather, quest events, or anything, without some script telling them to. They covered it up fairly well, but once you look at how your standard NPC moves, you can see how little AI is actually involved.

I suppose the best way to do this would be to create some kind of spell or what-not that spawned an NPC with identical equipment, stats, etc.. The hard part would be giving them a scheduale (I don't think I spelled that right) so that they didn't just stand there. It would really be a mod that let watch your self be controlled by the AI but a mod that made a clone of so you could...watch your self be controlled by the AI.

apparently, i read somewhere, thats already bin done. and teh player npc copy went around and killed EVERYTHING. freewill doesn't just mean nice stuff, your character could well turn round and kill you! lol thats if you use the same AI settings as the normal npc's. one amusing story from development is this:

one guard in imperial city gets hungry so goes to the woods hunting for food. he was on duty so ALL the other guards go after him to arrest him for leaving his post. this leaves the town unguarded...

so...

all the towns people start to riot. robbing everything they can get their hands on because there are no guards there! lol

how cool is that???

hahahahahahaha. That happened to me. I had 2 Skulls of Corruption(I <3 coctestinghall), set one down by some lady, used the skull on her(then using the "player.payfine" cheat). The Corrupted clone picked up the spare Skull and shot me with it. The hitch is i had a Daedric Longsword with a base Damage of 28(i was level 69) enchanted with Damage Health 100 for 5 Seconds when(CS) and all my equipment was enchated(ingame this time) with 100% Reflect Damage when worn together and 2 Rings and a Pendant Reflect Magicka 100% when worn together(all ingame enchanted). After his 30 second life span, the Market district was completely devoid of life. And since it was lunch time, most of the shopkeeps were dead as well.

I lol'd for 10 minutes after that. tried to recapture it with fraps too. it just wont do it anymore.
