Untouchable1
Yes. On the day I get done with Bloodmoon and decide to really dive into Oblivion, my 360 decides to have a CD-ROM hardware failure. I play mine standing upright (vertically) and a lot of people do that but I don't see the problem. But, these sort of things happen to me. I called xbox customer service yesterday and thankfully they have amazing service. They registered my 360 for its warranty online for me and sent the order for me to be shipped a Fed-ex box in which I am to return the console in, with all the appropriate stickers and postage and such already on it. He said it would "be sent out in the next 1 or 2 business days" so of course it may take up to a week to get here, a few days to get back, he said something like "you should get it back in about 2 weeks." So I'm expecting 3 weeks or so before I can ever play Oblivion (kind of a pessimistic number.) My question, to those who even care anymore. Those of you who have sent your xbox or 360 in to the Xbox guys for rapairs, how many days, or weeks, from the initial call to customer service, did it take for the entire process to run through and you have your lovely working console back in your hands? Sorry. I'm paranoid. But it's Oblivion! And I have to know how long it should take for this to go through. :-S
