A strange issue with Fallout. (Maybe mods are to blame?)

For whatever reason, after installing a companion mod made by JIP, my games saves started to go wonky and the saves I made would usually never load and be an endless loading wheel. Every 3/4. Quicksaves too.

 

Also, inquiry: If I installed a NVSE plugin that managed to f*#@ up my levellists. Would it be possible to just remove said plugin and use an old save before it was installed to ensure that my levellists don't change?
