Lolasho
I've installed the OBGEv2 version that you can find in TESNexus but... it doesn't work! I tried to set AAAAAAALL values to over nine thousand values all not-boolean values (in which case I set them to 1), but it still doesn't work. I think it has something to do with the fact that it doesn't create a OBGE.ini file in my Saves folder, but I don't know why. Maybe because I have a foreigner version of Windows and the file path creating is not language-flexible? How can I solve it? Thanks.
Tomlong54210
Do you have OBSE installed, and do you have all of the OBGE requirements? I think it requires DX9.0c and the 2008 SP1 C++ Runtime update.

I dont know why, but every time I try to activate a shader, it's still listed with a "-" instead of a "+", even when in the console says that it's been activated. I really don't know why it doesn't work. I created a shaderlist.txt in the shaders folder and it still doesn't work. I also downloaded and installed COBL, but it doesn't work. EDIT: BTW, I could run an old OBGE (motion blur), but I uninstalled it's OBSE plugins files because OBGEv2 only needs himself. Should I reinstall obge.dll and obse_EAX.dll? Tomlong54210
If COBL is not working, check your OBSE install. Are you sure OBSE is working? As for OBGE, only use the current DLLs. Also, there is a fixed version of the v2 DLL available - http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1102453-oblivion-graphics-extender-thread-16/page__view__findpost__p__16126078

I can get running other OBSE plug-ins (like COBL, where I can delete spells), I can see something like "Now running OBSE v18" in the top of the screen, and I updated the .dll, but I can't activate the shaders. Maybe I wrote wrongly the shaderlist? It looks like this: ssao_perf.fx DepthofField.fx godrays.fx CelShader+EdgeAA.fx ColorEffects.fx ColorMood.fx Maybe I'm forgetting something... EDIT: I didn't update a shader from the optional files because it was edited in an earlier date. Maybe it has something to do with this...
Tomlong54210
Post in the thread linked below and you should definitely be able to get your answer. If I used OBGE, I would be all over this, but I will not be trying it until I get my new system built. I have not played the game in a number of months, now. :( OGE Official Thread - http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1102453-oblivion-graphics-extender-thread-16/page__view__findpost__p__16183751__hl__Oblivion%20Graphics%20Extender__fromsearch__1

Noggog
I know this is a VERY old post, but I just happened upon it and had been frustrated trying to get OBGE godrays to work. I realized you need to SHIFT-click the features you want in the in-game menu to activate them. You can mess with the settings all you want, but you have to shift click to actually activate the plugin. Of course they leave that part out of any easy to find readme section Don't know if that was your problem, but it was for me. Messed with the settings for an hour banging my head looking at the sun and whimpering, just to find out that's all it was.. XD
