I like this mod. :)

Expansion suggestions.

Repave the asphalt roads, and fix the highway infrastructure.

Fix and run the trains and monorails like a life-size train set. They don't have to take on passengers; just run. At tunnels with no continuations just have them "disappear" into the tunnels and reappear in the different sections and in the wasteland on a hourly or daily schedule.

Buses could also do that on the roads.

reason:aesthetics.

"Johnny Appleseed"

Player goes around the Wasteland "planting" seedlings near water, radiated or not, and the seedlings "grow" over a period of months...or days to full-grown trees. If anyone knows what type of trees are native to the DC area, that would be good also.

" A River Runs Through It"

The Potomac River actually flows, in whichever direction in flow in the real world, and that may reduce it's radioactivity.

Sure, some of this may "wreck" immersion, but if you are playing as a settler, then there is no immersion any way.

Btw I found a way to stop the in-mod raider attacks. "scrub" the parking lot at the Super Duper Mart, and build your village there. it's really flat with lots of space. you'll have to use(PC-only) the "~" key and "disable" the cars and such

but it's worth it. place the raider spawn torches in one of the shopping cart holders and after the first raid all subsequent raids seem to not happen. ;)

This mod is all about immersion, if your using this mod then you are living the life of a settler, starting a village, building it up from the ground. I don't understand what you mean by that, how can there be no immersion when you are immersing yourself in the life of a settler?
