Noob247
Ive opened the data folder of the oblivion program files and i cant find the meshes folder that from what ive seen in instructions on how to install mods is needed. However there is a file called oblivion-meshes.bsa and i'm not entirely sure what it is/what it is used for if anyone could tell me, that would be useful. Anyways back on topic i'm wondering whether it would be okay to just create a folder entitled meshes and place the meshes from the mods in there? steelstiletto
Yeah, some folders are not created by default. If you have a mod that needs to put something in a folder that isn't created yet, you can go ahead and create it yourself.

Norinvaux
There isn't a meshes folder in the vanilla oblivion install directory because all the vanilla meshes were compressed into the .bsa file. The game engine reads .bsa files, and uses the meshes/textures/sounds in them the same way it uses the ones in the Meshes/Textures/Sound folders.
