Any fun XCOM Mods out there

Are there any good mods out there for this game? I'm looking especially for mods that add new features such as PSI Powers, class progression, etc. Or just a cool rebalance mod. I've read that mods like Warspace Extension was supposed to be good, but it seems to have been abandoned, anything like it out there?

 

I've tried Long War and I frankly didn't like it.

 

If you need the long version:

 

Long War has tons of cool ideas but I just don't find 16 hp thin men with squad sight fun. Same goes for light to medium class UFOs shooting down all my satellites and damaging all five interceptors the first two months. We all have our preferences and opinions, and I find Long War to be more of an unbalanced Long Grind where you need to cheese your way past madness like Muton Berserkers with the power to full-run->kill anything in high cover (special ability).

Have your tried longwar with some of the second wave options?

I personally use:

- Red Fog (decreases aim if a unit is damaged also for aliens)

- Hidden Potential (more random stats gain from level up)

- Not So Long War (makes the game shorter and quicker)

 

But you can also add cinematic mode which gives you a lot more aim on both soldiers and planes and makes the game a lot easyer

 

If that is also to hard try finding some tutorials or if you have the capability to just edit the mod values and decrease the health aliens have and gain over the course of the game
