hey all,is there not a better way to installing (using)mods,am using windows 7 ath the moment,

i read alot of tutorials but am still not abel to run those dam programs(OBMM..)

think i will install windows xp again, played morrowind and used alot of mods without any problem,

but since i have windows 7 installed and using it wright now i cant using any kind of mod,

would be alot easier if there was download with all requesting programs tho use oblivion mods without all those troubels,

have fun all

Right-click and use "Run as admin," but that fix is kind of temporary. Really you should just reinstall Oblivion outside of the default folder, Program Files (x86), and most of your Win7/Vista-related problems should go away.

temporary how so? i'm running vista and i have no problems whats so ever, just the occasional ," ups forgot to run as admin".

I was only referring to how all of the other utilities will require that same fix (and you have to hope that suffices for all of them.) You have to remember to do that for mods installed with an EXE too.

Just moving will not work either.

Here is a link to my complete uninstall/reinstall procedure located in the articles section of the Nexus

http://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=240

It allows you to preserve any saves and mods, or remove them completely - your choice.
