TheOnlyJanitor
So here is the situation. After adding 3 new mods all of a sudden NPC's don't turn their heads anymore. They don't look up or down or left or right, their eyes never look around. When sitting, the NPC's don't turn to look at me when I talk to them. Here are a few examples of what I'm talking about. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e131/The_Only_Janitor/Oblivion2010-07-2511-32-50-33.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e131/The_Only_Janitor/Oblivion2010-07-2511-32-22-85.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e131/The_Only_Janitor/Oblivion2010-07-2511-31-59-57.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e131/The_Only_Janitor/Oblivion2010-07-2511-31-43-54.jpg The bottom two examples are sitting NPC's by the way. The new mod's I added the day that I noticed this problem were:SoVvMDeadly Reflex 5 (with the hotfix)Demonized The problem is still there after disabling those mods in Modmanager, and also still there when disabling all of my .esp's and .esm's except Oblivion.esm. Also, today I tried to add "LookHereYou" and it didn't do anything. I think these things are related. UPDATE: I backed up and deleted my meshes and textures folders, ran the game and still have the same problem. Is the npc's head motion in a .ini or something? steelstiletto
You are on the right track, it is actually a part of the ini file. Here's a quote of what part it is:bDisableHeadTracking=0 - If set to 1, stops characters' heads swiveling to track other characters, including your own (when in 3rd person view). Does not seem to influence performance much, and is not recommended. I only remember that because I'd read http://www.tweakguides.com/Oblivion_10.html recently, which is where it's from. Hope this helps.
