I would like to take a few minutes to yet again thank the administrators of the Nexus site for giving us this forum not only as a place to come and exchange information regarding our games and mods, and to share images. It has obviously become much more than that for many of us. We use it in a variety of different ways. Some of us come to play games, or to read others' posts to gather or to share information. We listen to each others' music, we vent about the crap going on in our daily lives. We have an outlet for our creative juices, such as poetry. We have political debates, intellectual discussions, exchange viewpoints on a myriad of subjects.

 

What I find best about all of this, is that everyone is allowed to come here. There are no restrictions with respect to beliefs, be they religious, moral, political or whatever. There are site rules that must be followed, and those rules are reasonable and help to keep the site a comfortable place for all of us to be and know that we are all safe. Many of us do not live in or come from environments where it is so easy to always feel this way.

 

I commend the staff for keeping their own views (political or religious or any other) out of the mix and just letting us do our thing on this marvelous forum. I know that sometimes some of the debate sites can get a little sticky, and you are responsible for keeping us at bay without feeling like we are in a police state. Somehow you manage, and it cannot always be easy. If you have personal views, I'm sure you express them in your posts, but must keep them out of your decision making processes when it comes to banning people or shutting down threads. Since you are all only human, this must be tough, but kudos to all of you for the effort.

 

But most importantly, thank you again for this wonderful site.:thumbsup:

I'll pitch in as well, Much thanks for all the things that all the staff and owners do for us around here. For giving us the site itself, which is IMO the BEST Dragon Age community site online!
